BBC World Commercial Service Launched in Russia

BBC World is the broadcaster of an English language television channel consisting of news current affairs and information programs.

The commercials of the Russian companies are expected to be broadcast on BBC World in spring 2006. The future Russian advertisers of BBC World are the companies preparing to make IPO at London Stock Exchange as well as the large Russian industrial companies and exporters responsible for the promotion in the foreign markets of their priority.

So far the Russian companies have had no experience in the direct foreign TV commercial. It’s obvious that Russia chose BBC World as a starting point to launch the large-scale international advertising campaign. By getting over the distance of decades over the years the Russian companies have shown their willingness to compete with the largest international companies on equal terms. BBC World gives such an opportunity to the Russian companies within its broadcasting.
